"Tee" for Toys

The San Jose Holiday Parade is thrilled to announce a different kind of tournament supporting future smiles throughout the Bay Area. Over one hundred golfers will gather for a day on the green for the at the 8th Annual “Tee for Toys” Golf Tournament, at Almaden Country Club, benefiting the United States Marine Corps Toys for Tots Program and the San Jose Holiday Parade. Participants will enjoy an all-you-can-eat BBQ lunch prior to tee off, enjoy a round of golf at this exclusive private course and finish with an enchanting buffet dinner at sunset. Golfers will receive a goodie-bag, tournament give-aways, and beverages on the course. Registration fees will include green fees, locker room usage, range balls and golf cart. There will also be a various raffles, contest holes, tournament winners and a silent auction with prizes donated by various sponsors throughout the area. Golfers will have the chance to challenge a Marine and also be greeted by Footballs Fabulous Females, the Oakland Raiderettes!

All the toys donated to the Toys for Tots program will help thousands of children experience an “Adventure in Toyland”.

Check in for the 2009 Tee for Toys begins at 10:00 a.m. and the Shotgun Start is at 12:30 p.m. Prices will be $180 per golfer or $680 per foursome.
